Caleb Amos

Caleb joined LPI in 2026 as a Production Engineer, bringing a strong technical background and a practical, hands-on approach to engineering. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering with Honours in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Tasmania.

Before joining LPI, Caleb gained broad experience in CNC manufacturing, working across the entire production process—from design and CNC programming through to process automation and metrology. This diverse background gives him a deep understanding of both engineering principles and real-world manufacturing environments.

At LPI, Caleb works closely with the production team on product design, process improvements, CAD and CAM programming, and manufacturing optimisation. Whether he's developing new solutions, improving production efficiency, or working directly on the workshop floor, Caleb enjoys turning ideas into practical outcomes and continuously finding better ways to do things.

Outside of engineering, Caleb enjoys the hands-on problem-solving and innovation that manufacturing offers, and takes pride in contributing to the development of Australian-made products that are used around the world.
