Transient Earth Clamp
The LPI® TEC100-2L Transient Earth Clamp is designed to provide equipotential bonding between separate earthing systems during transient events such as lightning strikes and electrical surges. Under normal operating conditions, the device remains in an open-circuit state, helping to prevent unwanted current flow between earth systems. During a transient event, it rapidly forms a conductive path, equalising potential differences and reducing the risk of damage to connected equipment and infrastructure.
Compact, reliable and easy to install, the TEC100-2L is ideal for applications where separate earthing systems must remain isolated under normal conditions but require temporary bonding for effective surge and lightning protection.
